InfoMaker 10 "application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005)

I have begun receiving the error "The application failed to
initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate
the application." whenever I try to launch InfoMaker
(running version 10). The title of the error window is
"lm100.exe - Application Error". I have tried re-installing
and this does not have any effect on my problem. Has anyone
seen this problem and if so, how can I resolve the problem
so that I can launch InfoMaker again?

Most likely a corrupt layout that IM tries to reload when starting.
Delete the following registry key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sybase\InfoMaker\10.0\Layout\Default

IM will rebuild it automatically.
