Discussion:
Infomaker 7 - 'Integer division by zero' Error

Hi,

I am speaking for my client and her issue is that she has
Infomaker 7 installed on a T500 laptop. When she opens up a
report, it works fine when she uses the arrow buttons on the
keyboard to scroll up and down on the report but when she
uses her middle mouse button to scroll, this is the error
that shows up:

The exception Integer division by zero. (0xc0000094) ocurred
in the application at location 0x106ad580.
Click ok to terminate.....

After that it would close out of the whole application. I am
thinking that it could be a driver that need to be installed
on the T500 or else there is something going on with her
profile. Any insight on this would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Do you know which specific version of IM7 this is? It should be available
in the Help About dialog.

I do remember a bug in PB/IM from that timeframe having to do with the
scrollwheel, and it was repaired in a subsequent EBF.

Paul's right. You'll want to install 7.0.3 or later. You can download it
from downloads.sybase.com. Make sure to set the timeframe to ALL or you
won't find it.
You also should consider upgrading to a current release: 11.0 or 11.5

That's the base 7.0 release. Very very buggy. Do yourself a big favour and
install 7.0.3.

Hi Terry;

Unlikely, since Sybase pulled all the versions of IM back past 10.5.1 on
their website sue to the DataDirect legal issue.

I would recommend that TN move to IM 11.x or higher IMHO

Right, forgot about that one. You have to call Tech Support to get the
Maintenance Releases or EBFs.
