Hi
Recently I´ve installed infomaker 11.5 on a standalone machine.
A few days after somebody has changed the name of the machine and his
ip.
A month later my customer tried to execute the program and had a
message saying
"Your license is not validate".

Well, after that we have desintalled the program and cleaned all
registry entries.
We connected at sybase to generate another license file and we
downloaded again to the machine.

After a new installation when we tried to put the license file the
system doe´snt recognize like a valid file.

We did it that almost two o three times.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance and sorry for my english.

Best regards from Spain.

Make sure to delete the old registry file (*.lic). It normally will reside
in:

C:\Documents and Settings\youruserid\Local Settings\Application
Data\Sybase\InfoMaker 11.5

I´ve tried again and the result was the same.
Honestly, I don´t know how explain to my customer all that problems in
a satisfactory way.

I did all that the manual of installation says.
I´ve deleted the registry entries and the old .lic files.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Hospi;

What are you using for the license ... the network card's id (MAC
address) or the disc drives serial number?
